My brother, Austin, got married this past November. It was such a highlight of my year.
Maggie and Austin let me help them plan their big day, and some of my fantastic staff helped on the event day.
Austin and Maggie chose to host their event at 48 Fields, a farm wedding venue in Leesburg, Virginia with a gorgeous refurbished dairy barn.
Maggie, the bride, and her gals got ready at a local hotel, with hair and makeup done by Makeup by Megan Monahan, before heading to the venue.
Of course we had to have the emotional first-look with the Bride’s Father.
Guys, my brother made the funniest faces during the first look.
Austin and Maggie chose Corinne of Finn Lively Photography to photograph their even. She and her 2nd shooter did an incredible job capturing the happiness of the day, despite the cold November wedding day temperatures!
One of our absolute favorite florists, Blair of Sweet Blossoms, did the florals for Austin & Maggie’s wedding day. I love the bridal bouquet and boutonniere pictured below.
After dinner, we enjoyed toasts from my brother Logan, the Best Man, and the Maid of Honor Claire.
Every year we get to enjoy new experiences, and Claire’s toast was a first – she was too emotional to share in front of everyone, so she gave her toast facing the wall.
My Mom made Austin and Maggie’s wedding cake, along with an assortment of cupcakes that my Aunts and Uncles helped decorate.
After the Father-Daughter & Mother-Son Dances, the party went back downstairs for some non-stop dancing until the event end.
