Details, Details

Joanne customized her wedding invitation using an invitation from Minted.com paired with Paper Source envelope liners. An artist at heart, Joanne spent a few months learning calligraphy so she could incorporate that touch on the guests envelopes, along with a wax seal.

Getting Ready

Joanne assembled an amazing team for the ladies’ hair and makeup.

Felicia of JKW Beauty did the ladies hair, and Kevan Lawrence of Makeup by Kevan did the ladies makeup.

The Wedding Fashion

Joanne wore a gorgeous Hayley Paige gown.
After purchasing it at Love Couture Bridal in Potomac, Maryland, she decided she wanted to add on sleeves. The alterations team at Love Couture collaborate with her to add on these off-shoulder sleeves, which perfectly accented her look.

For the bridesmaids, Joanne worked with the girls to pick out dresses from Revelry different styles and similar shades to create a fashionable but timeless look for her bridal party

The Ceremony

Chris and Joanne’s event was elegant and classic, but not without touches of personality. Chris and his groomsmen entered the ceremony to “The Imperial March” from Star Wars, one of Chris’s favorite films.

Chris and Joanne chose Jeff of Ceremonies by Jeff to officiate their ceremony. In addition to some meaningful readings, Joanne and Chris put letters and a bottle of wine in a locked box to open on their first anniversary.

Joanne and Chris left their ceremony to a rose petal toss, highlighting the celebratory moment.

The Reception

The blush velvet linens and gorgeous table settings were brought in from Select Event Group. Edge Floral Event Designers brought in gorgeous florals.

Ever the creative, our bride Joanne created custom marble tiles with gold calligraphy for each of the guests’ table settings.

The Party

Chris and Joanne brought in Mike of Modern Era Weddings to DJ their wedding. They kicked things off with a first dance choreographed to a song from The Greatest Showman movie.
