My favorite parts of reviewing images from past weddings is seeing the smiles on my client’s faces. The photographer for this event, Brea, is a pro at capturing in-the-moment emotions. Between her skills, and the happy bride and groom, you’ll enjoy a lot of smiles here.

Beauty by Jackie did an amazing job with the makeup for Caitlin and her girls. As the event ended, Caitlin’s mom left the venue then came back inside just to tell me how amazing Jackie was.
In addition to being amazing at makeup, Jackie is an incredibly calming presence to have around as you get ready. My brides love her, and clearly so do their moms.
It was raining on the day of Caitlin and Lars’ wedding, but no worries. The bride had chosen to get ready at The Alexandrian Hotel, in Old Town Alexandria, a few blocks from the venue. The Alexandrian‘s lobby areas worked as an amazing backup plan for the outdoor photo time.
I mean, I wish my hallways at home looked like this, right?
Caitlin and Lars, the bride and groom, were amazing to work with. They were sweet, funny, laid-back, and most of all, you could tell they had deep loving connections with their family and friends.
After photos at The Alexandrian, we moved over to their venue, the Torpedo Factory. The Torpedo Factory is full of fun, artsy spots to take photos like this garage door.
During the ceremony, there were quite a few tears and even more smiles.
The rainy weather didn’t stop Caitlin and Lars from getting lots of amazing outdoor photos together at the Old Town Alexandria waterfront.
Lars & Caitlin,
Thank you for letting us celebrate with you!
This wedding has some great colors! It looked like such a fun and beautiful wedding!
