Helping Laura and John with their big day was a highlight of my 2017 year. They hosted their event at the Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

All these photos were taken by the photographer, Julie DiCarlo, who we loved working with. 

I loved the glitter Kate Spade Keds that Laura wore on her wedding day.

 

Oh and that plush dog represents their very real Pup, Sophie. 

Laura and John donated to Sophie’s rescue group in lieu of favors. 

Laura and John’s getting ready time was fun, laid-back, and full of laughter.

Laura and John opted for a first look before the ceremony. We took photos inside and on the Kentlands Mansion grounds.

John’s sister played the ceremony music, and a friend of the couple, Alan, officiated.

The Kentlands Mansion lawn was a beautiful setting for Laura and John’s ceremony. Laura, herself, made this ribbon backdrop to hang behind them.

Laura and John wanted their values reflected in their wedding. They chose to work with Eat & Smile for their catering. Eat & Smile focuses a ton on local food and sustainability. We loved working with them, and the food was delicious.

Park Florist did a lovely job with all the event florals. We love partnering with them.

This ‘Sweets by E‘ cake was delicious.
